AKBF introduces it’s maiden Pro-Fight event

“Don’t count the days; make the days count.” Said by Muhammad Ali, Heavyweight Boxer, Greatest World Champion. The quotation has highly motivated Amjad Khan, International Boxing Promoter and Founder of Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation. Having being inspired by the UK based World Boxing Champion and Olympic Medallist Amir Khan, Amjad Khan has led many boxers in India and helped them in build a career in professional boxing at the global level.

On Friday, Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation organised its 1st AKBF Pro-Fight Event held at Marwah Studio in patronship of Mr. Sandeep Marwah (Founder, Noida Film City), also entailed a long list of guests namely, Chief Guest Manoj Tiwari (Delhi BJP chief); Sahil Peerzada (Dynamic Business Entrepreneur, Mr. Peerzada is very close friend of Mr. Amjad Khan and always support and promote “AKBF”) and Mr. S. M. Khan (Ex-CBI Spokesperson and Press Secretary to the former President of India A P J Abdul Kalam)

Ms. Stuti Kacker – IAS, (Chairperson, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights); Mr. Manasvi Singh, Director, Buddy4Study India Foundation; Mr. Vipin Gaur, General Secretary (Country & Politics), Roshni Thakur, Rishikumar Singh and Sahil Goyal, MD (ENVI). The AKBF Pro Fight Event featured a total of 5 bouts including 4 men bouts and 1 female bout. The competition between the players splayed out in 5 different weight categories with bouts of 4 rounds of three minutes each and under Professional Boxing Coach Chandan Singh and Naseem Ahmed are the best pro coaches who have groomed these professional players for fight event. The Best Boxers Award was given to Rakesh Lochav in the male category and to Jaspinder Kaur in the female category.

Event Manager “Saurabh Pal” took this entire program very well, till the completion of the program, he worked hard with his team to make this event successful. Boxing, being an international sport has with the advancing time become the 2nd most popular game in India and is also among the world’s richest Games. Indian professional boxers look to showcase their pro boxing skills through these pro fight events in order to attract international matchmakers.
